About Kitesurfing/ Kiteboarding

ImageKitesurfing is a highly addictive and enjoyable sport that can in some cases go on to become a lifestyle. After an initial outlay of from around $2000 for a kite, $1000 for a board and $300 for a wetsuit and harness you don't need a lift pass, have to push, a jetski, a tow boat or waves to enjoy board riding - just a nice big beach and some suitable wind for which New Zealand is a very lucky place indeed.

Where We Come In - To Teach You

ImageKitesurfing is comparable to scuba diving parachuting or paragliding and should not be attempted without suitable guidance which we are able to offer.

Who Can Learn?

Well you have to be a competent swimmer and be physically fit of course. But what many don't know is that kitesurfing does not require huge strength as you wear a harness that takes most of the load of the kite pulling you. Kite flying skill will be far more important than strength. We teach ages 16 and up.
